Summer is the best time of year but can be tough on your pup. Be sure to stock up on these six summer essentials to help out Fido this season.
Like many people, summer is one of my favorite seasons. I absolutely live for warm weather, beachy boho decor, and the overall more chill attitude that summer seems to bring.
However, summer can be a challenging time for pets, especially dogs. If you live in a place where the summer temperatures can be sweltering, your pup may be uncomfortable without you even knowing it. Luckily, there are several great products out there designed to keep your dog comfortable and cool all summer long!

Dog Pool – Let your furry friend take a dip in this pet pool! Investing in a dog pool is a great way to keep your pup cool during the hot summer months, and it’s something you can use year after year!
Portable Water Bowl – Any fellow Shark Tank fans reading this?! This Shark Tank product is always a top rated/recommended dog product on Amazon. Keep one of these in your car and on your person all summer long to ensure your pup stays hydrated.

Pet Deodorizer – Accidents happen, so why not be prepared with some deodorizer? If you live in a hot climate, the last thing you want to do is open the doors and windows and let your precious air conditioning out, so this little pet deodorizer really comes in clutch during the summer months!
Dog Sunscreen– As long as you clear it with your vet first, sunscreen can be a great extra precaution to ensure your dog doesn’t get sunburnt this summer.
Cooling Vest– Keep your fur baby cool as a cucumber on your daily walks with this cooling vest. My personal favorite is the pink camo vest, but go with your pup’s favorite color!
