With Fourth of July approaching, it is time to get all the red, white and blue recipe inspo for the celebrations to come in the next week! The Fourth is one of my favorite holidays because it usually involves lots of family time, cookouts, parades, bonfires and of course delish food.
While there are the traditional snacks, drinks and entrees that my family always makes sure to bring to the Fourth of July festivities, this year I will be adding a delish side dish that I was introduced to over Memorial Day weekend during my girls trip to Sea Island! This salad was not just memorable because it was the perfect blend of fruit and veggies, but its vibrant and colorful aesthetic was perfect for celebrating patriotic holidays which makes it a must for this Fourth of July!
Fourth Of July Salad:
- 1 container of spinach
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 1 cup of pomegranates arils
- 1 ½ avocados, diced
- ¾ cup of walnuts
- ⅛ cup of sliced almonds
- ¼ cup of chopped red onions
