Are you struggling to pick a destination for your next girl’s trip? Here are a few tips to help narrow down your search and find the perfect city.
My favorite way to spend quality time with my friends is planning a girls’ trip. Planning a trip in advance ensures everyone has time to clear their schedules and agree on a set weekend.
However, choosing where to go can be challenging, as everyone has different tastes and preferences. So here are some of my most helpful tips for picking your next girls’ trip destination!
Pick a Coast
Is your group more East Coast or West Coast? Perhaps even the South? Narrowing your search down to a general part of the country can make it easier to choose where you’ll be going.
Do you want warmer weather? It varies depending on the time of the year. Having grown up on the east coast, I recommend against the north during winter if you aren’t looking for skiing!
What’s Most Important to You and Your Group?
Is this a rowdy wine-fueled girl’s trip or a relaxing beach trip? Do you prefer hitting local bars and clubs, or do you want to prioritize catching up? Consider what you and your friends are looking to accomplish during this trip. If you have a mix of singles and couples, consider a smaller-sized city that the group has not been to, so there is a balance between exploring and nightlife and options for the group to choose!
Consider Your Budget
One of the hardest parts of planning a girls’ trip is accommodating a variety of personal budgets. While you might be making bank at your job, your friends might not have as much disposable income. Have an honest conversation with your friends and choose a destination that everyone is comfortable with.
