Following up on my splurge worthy skin product for sensitive skin – I have a must share product for those of you who are in the market for a new everyday cleanser that is just gentle enough but effective to rid your skin of oil and dirt without breaking the bank! This is a brand that you can find at your nearest drug store and it’s likely a brand that you have heard of and there is reason for its prominence- it is one of the most gently sensitive skin friendly brand on the market! It wasn’t until a few years ago that I finally took up my dermatologists suggestion to use this drug store product for my sensitive skin after having stubbornly insisted on shopping around and trying out different luxury brands that seemed to hold so much promise- but alas I found myself turning to this amazing product. This is truly one of those don’t judge a book by its cover stories, because from an appearance standpoint this brand’s products seemed underwhelming by comparison to the rest on the shelves – but that is far from the case in its effectiveness at taking care of sensitive oily skin!
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
For just under $15 – this drug store product sure gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to effectiveness and affordability. While I have skin care products that I find splurge worthy, I have yet to find a cleanser that beats this super gentle skin cleanser giving me no reason to look elsewhere or try out new luxury brands sensitive friendly advertised products. I have tried the face cleanser and while I didn’t have any qualms with it, the gentle skin cleanser just has a different formula that feels extra gentle when washing my skin! Quite honestly I have turned to ditching my makeup remover wipes and use hot water and sometimes coconut oil to remove that hard to get off makeup but rely on this cleanser to remove foundation at the end of the day and it gets the job done!
