My mouth is watering just thinking about it, which is why we have to share this amazingly yumz in your tumz recipe that is the sweet twist to your traditional banana bread- chocolate chip banana bread. This recipe can be enjoyed on any given day, but it feels especially well timed that national banana bread day falls during this time of year, where we could use all the cozy vibes to get us through the end of the winter season, especially those sweet cozy vibes for a good pick me up. This recipe is one that my mom has been making for years (just another amazing Little Ma’s recipe) and it’s always requested by others, so if you are looking for full proof banana bread sure to please here is the banana bread recipe you all need in your life and especially on national banana bread day!
Ingredients:
1 stick of butter, room temp
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 cup unbleached all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 mashed ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Cup of Chocolate Chips
Recipe:
Set oven to 375 degrees
Cream Butter and Sugar until well mixed
One by one pour eggs into the mix and stir each time egg is added
Stir flour, baking soda and salt
Add in mashed bananas and vanilla
Add in chocolate chips last
Pour into a greased bread pan
Bake for about fifty to sixty minute, check to see when bread is well baked and then cool for fifteen minutes.
