Everything from Barefoot Dreams is amazingggg. From cardigans to slippers to blankets, if you’re looking for cozy, look no further! What I love about this cardigan in particular is how versatile it is. It is certainly perfect for lounging around at home with some joggers or leggings BUT it can also be dressed up with some black jeans and heeled booties to create a perfectly polished fall look.
“Organic Terry Crop Pocket Sweatshirt” from MATE the Label
This sweatshirt is definitely my go-to right now! I have it in two colors currently, but definitely have my eye on more. I’ve talked about MATE the Label in an insta post before, but their clothes are not only some of the comfiest you’ll find, but their materials are all sustainably and ethically sourced – it’s a win-win!! Their clothes are definitely on the pricier side, especially for loungewear, but it helps knowing they place an emphasis on being environmentally friendly and employ ethical labor practices. “Long Sleeve Ribbed Sweater Top” from Abercrombie & Fitch
This is a great “sweater” for those of us that live in places where it still gets up into the 70s and 80s in late October (looking at you Texas!). It can be worn open, as a light cardigan over a cropped tank, or buttoned up, as a top on its own. It’s comfortable enough to wear around the house all day and it looks put together enough to hop on a Zoom meeting for those working from home! This is on clearance right not for $15, so hurry before they sell out!
“Cozy Long Cardigan” from Leith
This is a true cardigan as it is tall girl approved when it comes to length. I love a cardigan that covers most of my thigh not only for warmth but also it’s an excellent staple piece that can effortlessly tie together a leggings and boots look. It’s a staple piece that you can put on with minimal effort and look and feel cute. Not only is it perfect for sweater weather season but it can also be a transition piece for cooler summer evenings. I tend to pack this item wherever I go as I can throw it over my jeans or jean shorts on summer nights. Plus this brand, Leith, tries to be size inclusive which is another great reason to buy their cardigan. Furthermore, this cardigan has been a staple item for this brand as they keep coming out with it (with just a few adjustments) each season, proving that it continues to be a must have.
“Pranayama Wrap” from Athleta
This may be intended as a workout wrap but this is a very versatile layer that can be styled for sweater weather. Athleta is a great brand that provides high quality, tall friendly sizing and recently has become more size inclusive adding to their plus options. Not only do I have this, but my sister and mother wear this wrap all the time proving it’s a style that works for all ages. It is so soft and the weight of the fabric is medium making it great from pre or post workout to weekend wear.
