Fall Mocktails Perfect for Thanksgiving

November 8, 2022

Y’all know how much I love fall and getting festive, whether it’s lighting up those warm fall candles or watching a spooky movie

One of the perfect ways to celebrate a fun fall night or to host a fun Friendsgiving party is with a set of mixed drinks and mocktails.

Being pregnant, I understand it’s definitely a little awkward when you’re out with friends and family, and you want to join in on the fun, but you can’t drink.

Regardless, a good mocktail can be seriously enjoyable and allow you to still participate in the fun without getting buzzed.

So with the fall holidays right around the corner, I thought I’d put together a list of my favorite fall mocktails you can make the next time you host a party or have a night with some friends at home.

Hot Toddy

A hot toddy is my go-to when I’m feeling a little under the weather, and it also makes a great warm fall drink! To make it, you’ll need hot water, local honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves. Add everything to a mug (I don’t do measurements, I just eyeball it) and enjoy!

Cranberry Mojito

Cranberry anything is so festive this time of year, so I’ll definitely be making a virgin cranberry mojito this Thanksgiving. To make it, muddle mint leaves, cranberry reduction, and fresh lime juice in a cocktail shaker and give it a good shake until chilled. Then, pour it into a glass filled with ice cubes and top it with lemon-lime soda.

Ginger Cranberry Sparkler

Ginger has been a lifesaver for me throughout my pregnancy, especially when a wave of nausea hits. This ginger cranberry sparkler is so easy to whip together- all you need is ice, cranberry juice, and ginger ale!

Pink “Champagne”

Since I won’t be able to cheers with a glass of champagne this year, I’ll be opting for this alcohol-free version instead. To make it, just add sparkling cider and raspberry syrup to a champagne flute, and garnish with blueberries and raspberries for pretty points.

Apple Pie Punch

I’m definitely going to be making a bowl of this apple pie punch for my family this Thanksgiving! Add apple cider, sparkling apple pear cider, ginger ale, ice, sliced apples, and star anise for garnish to a large punch bowl. Mix everything together and serve!
