With the holiday season right around the corner, I have been doing some major shopping and stocking up on lots of different must-haves for my winter wardrobe. Since I’ll be officially debuting my baby bump this holiday season, I want to make sure I have a cute outfit for every holiday occasion, whether it’s having a date night out, holiday parties, or Christmas dinner with the family or catching up with friends over coffee while we’re all in town.
So here are some of my must-have holiday and winter maternity fits!
A Little Black Dress/Sweater Dress
Everyone needs a good LBD and I have been on the hunt for one that will accommodate my growing belly while still being cute and comfy. While you can shop at high-end stores, there are tons of black maternity dresses on Amazon in all shapes and sizes. Another favorite affordable amazon dress that is perfect for maternity date night fits is this cute sweater dress that ties at the waist.
A Cute Coat
A great coat can instantly elevate even the most basic outfits, but it can be tough to find one that will zip or button over a pregnant belly! A long, faux fur coat is so in right now, and it’ll be roomy enough to accommodate your baby bump while still providing a lot of warmth. For a more casual, everyday look, I love a classic black puffer jacket that you can wear for years to come.
Boots, Boots, Boots
Boots are the ultimate winter shoe when you’re pregnant, specifically boots without much of a heel. I do not think you can ever go wrong with a pair of OTK boots. They look fabulous with leggings, LBDs, sweater dresses, and skirts and are perfect for keeping your legs warm. If you prefer a boot with a little more height, I recommend going for something with a chunky block heel (stilettos are NOT pregnancy-friendly!) Leggings and a Cute Cardigan or Vest
It can get cold during the winter months regardless of where you live. So you’ll want to stock up on some tights and leggings before the holiday season so that you can weather whatever crazy weather comes your way!
