A few days ago, I shared some of my helpful tips for finding the right dress as a wedding guest. Now, I wanted to elaborate and help guide some of y’all by giving you some specific examples of stylish and appropriate wedding guest dresses.

Whenever I buy a new dress to wear to a wedding, I try to imagine at least three other occasions that I can wear that same dress to get the most bang for my buck. So here are some of my favorite wedding guest dresses for 2022. 1. 1. BHLDN Cali Satin Midi Dress – BHLDN is popular for brides to find bridesmaids dresses, but they also offer plenty of selection for wedding guests! Having worn a BHLDN dress as a bridesmaid, I can attest to the quality of these dresses.
      This is Anthropologie’s sister brand, and they offer plenty of elegant options. They also offer inclusive sizing options in this particular style!
      Being that I am a 6’ 2.5” girl and have worn one of these dresses that indeed had a slit up the middle, I can also attest to these being tall girl friendly;)

    

   2. Dress The Population Cocktail Dress – I bought this dress last fall when I needed an LBD that would work excellently with most evening wear. This is the perfect wedding guest dress because it is formal enough, but the midi length doesn’t make it look like you are a part of the wedding party.
      Even better, you can wear this dress for cocktail hours, future weddings (its simplicity makes it easy to get away with re-wearing in my opinion), and work events! I really wish that Dress The Population would offer more sizes since this brand does run small–especially if you are like me and need more room in the thigh area rather than the chest area!

    

   3. Black Satin Slip Dress – Abercrombie has been coming through with some of the cutest summer dresses for years! I adore satin dresses for summer, and this slinky black one is just the right amount of sexy and sophisticated. I love that Abercrombie is offering TALL for all of us tall ladies;)

    

   4. Lulu’s Purple Midi Dress – Lulu’s had a large selection of wedding guest dresses, and this one is a perfect example of a dress that can transition from summer to fall! I am a sucker for purple, so this was my choice in this dress, but for those who want other colors, you are just in luck! This dress comes in XXS to 2X!

    

   5. Good American Slip Dress – As mentioned in the description, this is the perfect day-to-night dress. It all depends on how you want to style it, making it the perfect investment for your wardrobe to give you optionality.
