Whether you’re an early bird or prefer to hit snooze until the last possible second, I think we can all agree that the best part of the morning is enjoying a hot cup of coffee or tea before taking on the day. As a lifelong breakfast lover, I often find myself thinking about a warm hot drink and a delicious breakfast before I fall asleep. While I used to be a coffee lover, I have found myself craving tea lately. Part of the recent change has come from lifestyle changes, such as consuming hot water before eating to awaken my body and partly because of the influence of my boyfriend who makes a delish tea combo!
I know that tea has many benefits but personally I used to struggle with the taste alone. Fortunately, with the right additions it can be even more tasty than your typical coffee and cream breakfast drink order.
So here is a recipe for my favorite tea drink which I discovered in Ireland: Honey and lemon tea with some citrus (optional).

- Green Or Black Tea
- ¼ of a Lemon
- 2 (or 3 if you want it extra sweet) teaspoon of Honey
I find some days I want more of a citrus blend in which case I will squeeze a little extra lemon to really make that citrus taste come through.
