Fun Dessert Recipes: Easy Gluten Free Cookies

January 11, 2021

One thing the both of us are all about– sweets! We love our sweets, maybe Maddie more so than Sara, but nonetheless we can’t go a day without enjoying some sweet treats. As mentioned in one of our many food posts on insta, when it comes to choosing between savory and sweets, we will be the first to choose sweets without thinking twice. That is why we love sharing quick, simple, yet yummy recipe’s with y’all, that do not require a big trip to the store to get multiple ingredients. We prefer to share simple recipes that will likely require ingredients you can already find in your kitchen so that next time you get a craving you can quickly put together something yummy and amazing to satisfy that sweet tooth. SO, for today’s #Justlivingwithasweettooth blog post, we are sharing a delish and simple Gluten Free Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe, just in case you missed the insta post for it, plus we have some additional options to mix it up with this sweet treat.

Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe:

Combine first five ingredients, mix well. Then add in chocolate chips.

Ingredients:

Teaspoon of baking soda
Teaspoon of vanilla
1 C regular peanut butter
1 egg
3/4 C brown sugar
1 C semi-dark choc chocolate chip

(If you like salty sweet, now would be the time to sprinkle some sea salt on top of these before baking)

Bake at 350 for ten minutes. Be careful when it comes to the time because these are ones you don’t want to be crispy. These are better a little but chewy rather than crispy.

Mix it up: Add in hershey kisses or Reese’s peanut butter cups in the middle. To do this, while the cookies are baking unwrap the kisses or Reese’s peanut butter cups. Once cookies are done baking, place one of either candy on top of the cookie while they are still warm. There you have it, a yummy addition to this sweet treat!
