Even if you’re not the biggest football fan, you can still enjoy game days with these yummy appetizers and snacks!
Being from New England and a University of Michigan alumnae, football is and has been a big part of my fall weekends. One of my favorite things about game days was all of the delicious comfort food and snacks that would be served.
Whether you’re hosting or attending a Sunday night football get-together at someone else’s house, here are some of my favorite game-day apps and snacks that are sure to be a big hit!
By far the best and easiest game day app! All it calls for is a bag of shredded cheese, 1 bottle of salsa and 1 block of cream cheese. For the full recipe and directions which includes only four steps, check it out here. It will take you under half an hour to make this tasty dip!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Buffalo chicken dip is an absolute game-day staple and is insanely easy to make. I like to follow the recipe on the back of the Frank’s Red Hot bottle, which only requires a few ingredients: 2 cups shredded chicken, 1 package of softened cream cheese, ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot original sauce, ½ cup ranch dressing, and ½ cup bleu cheese crumbles.
Pigs in a Blanket
This is another crazy-easy game app to make, and they’re the perfect finger food to pick up and go! This recipe only requires two ingredients: 2 cans of refrigerated Pillsbury original crescent rolls and two 14-ounce packages of cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs. Just wrap the mini sausages or hot dogs up in crescent roll strips and bake until golden brown!
