Whether you’re a full-blown football fanatic or just here for the halftime show, you must admit that Super Bowl watch parties are fun. The fanfare, the rivalry, the commercials, and most importantly, the FOOD all lend to Super Bowl Sunday being one of my favorite nights of the year!
If you’re attending a Super Bowl party this year and don’t know what to bring, here are some quick classic game-day apps and snacks that are sure to be crowd-pleasers. As someone who is a pescatarian, these are catered more towards a vegetarian take on traditional game day apps!
Vegetarian Nachos – Check out this delish recipe from A Pinch of Healthy! This is perfect for a large crowd with differing food preferences being that is it a vegetarian recipe.
Seven Layer Dip – Seven-layer dip is one of those recipes that looks like you put in a lot more work than you really did. All you’ll need is refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, drained salsa, shredded Mexican cheese, green onions, black olives, and diced tomatoes. Simply layer everything on a large platter and serve with some tortilla chips!
Three Ingredient Nacho Dip Appetizer – As the name suggests, this recipe seriously only requires three ingredients and is baked to perfection. This is my family’s favorite recipe for game days! Make sure you have lots of chips to go along with it.
Vegetarian Cheese Board – A super easy app for game day. This takes no cooking skills and solely requires assembling the right cheeses, fruits, crackers and nuts together to give you a well-rounded cheese board. You can’t go wrong with grapes, almonds, Boursin cheese, crackers, and cheddar cheese slices. If you want to make it even more delish add in your favorite chocolates. I love the Hu Chocolates!
Guacamole and Pico de Gallo – A super simple app that you can either find in stores ready to go and use a fun tray for presentation or try out this Pico De Gallo recipe from Simple Vegan Blog.
Buffalo Cauliflower – For those who want a vegetarian app in place of a super traditional Superbowl app, try this four ingredient easy buffalo cauliflower recipe from Wholesome Yum.
