Happy almost Fourth of July y’all! Is it just us or do you feel like the fourth of July is the holiday that marks the start of that full on summer mode, all the while representing the peak of the season with the rest of summer days just seeming to fly by?! Okay well without getting too ahead of ourselves we wanted to make sure we took the time to really give y’all something amazing to snack on while celebrating this holiday weekend to fully enjoy your weekend! That is why we are sharing this beloved family recipe of mine (Maddie here) that is always requested, regardless of the time of year, but makes for the perfect appetizer to make this weekend- Nacho Dip! Not only is this one of the most delish dips you could taste but it also happens to be one of the easiest, simplest recipes requiring just three ingredients and taking less than twenty minutes of your time from start to finish! To make this app that is already perfect for whatever cookout you are attending or hosting this weekend– opt for blue corn tortilla chips to enjoy this dip!
Ingredients:
- 1 Bag of Shredded Cheese
- 1 (10 ounces) bottle of Salsa
- 1 Block of Cream Cheese
Directions:
1.) Spread the entirety of the Cream Cheese Block evenly across the bottom of your dish
2.) Pour the salsa over the cream cheese and using a spatula to evenly cover the cream cheese layer
3.) Then cover the salsa, evenly, with the bag of shredded cheese
4.) Cook for about 15 minutes at 350!
5.) Let the dip cool and when it is ready- enjoy your fourth of July dip with some blue corn tortilla chips!
Happy Fourth y’all! 🙂
