New Year’s Ideas: How to Spend New Year’s Eve In

December 26, 2022

New Year’s Eve is a time to reflect on the past twelve months and how far you’ve come. A year might not seem like a long time in the grand scheme of life, but when you think about how much can change in one year, it really puts things into perspective.

I know 2022 has brought me a lot of changes, from a pair of twins in my belly to a ring on my finger. I am truly blessed for all that has happened, and I look forward to celebrating the new year with my family. Each year, I get less and less interested in a big party for New Year’s and look to spend the new year relaxing, all the while celebrating. If you have a similar view- consider these alternative New Year’s Eve ideas to ring in 2023!

Have Yourself A Self-Care Night In

What better way to ring in the New Year than taking care of yourself?! Put together a list of self-care activities- from a delish meal to a warm bath and a glass of wine. Unplug for the night and ring in the New Year on the best of terms! You can also use this time to set goals and intentions for the New Year to really feel charged up and ready for all that’s in store for you in this new year!

Host a Girls’ Night In

You can choose to keep it super casual and comfy or dress up in your sparkliest outfits to keep things glam. To go the extra mile, stock up on plenty of champagne and snacks to keep the party going throughout the night!

Have A Date Night With Your S/O

Put together a cute date night in for you and your significant other! Whether you love to cook or you have your favorite place to order from- get the wine glasses out and have a toast to ring in the new year!

Family Game Night

Family game nights are the best! If you are home for the holidays or want to spend some extra time with the ‘rents- plan to order takeout and put together the best family game night ideas! Pro tip: If you have four people, the absolute best game, in my opinion (based on lots of family game nights experiences), is Code Names
