This past weekend I was fortunate enough to safely travel to the sunshine state and the biggest focus in packing for this trip: SPF! After months of the (sunless) northern winter weather, my body is craving all the au naturelle vitamin d it can get, which as we all know has its benefits but also has potential causes for concern, one of those being sun damage, especially if ill equipped. So for this trip I made sure to pack products with coverage and I am very happy to report back/share two amazing products that were a major success! Not only did these products keep my skin protected, with no sun burns apparent, these products were perfect in delivering that beachy, no make up but some makeup glowing look and even better, they did not lead to breakouts, which is a pretty big deal for my very sensitive, super oily skin! Needless to say, I will be relying to these two products from now on as we begin to experience sunnier warm days spent outside (hopefully).
SPF 50 in an everyday cc cream for sensitive skin?! YES please! This cream gives you a complimentary, natural looking glow, perfect for summer days. No matter the occasion, I love to use this product in place for foundation especially on a beach day, as I will apply this product without much precision, time, or effort and still get that full coverage, well blended finish, making this a great go to for those looking to spend minimal time in the mirror and all the time outside in the sun! This product is sensitive enough to wear, even on those hot humid day that makes your skin more susceptible to clogged pores and breakouts. Sidenote: Prior to the illumination, I used the regular liquid cream and will say that either way you can’t go wrong, this product lasts what feels like a lifetime!
This product is amazing in its protection and use. This doesn’t have a sticky consistency that makes it hard to apply nor does it wash you out, making your eyes significantly lighter than the rest of your face, if anything it’s a barely noticeable shimmer shadow. It applies smoother than some liquid eyeshadows, it’s that good. But the results were the best part– at the end of the day, my eye area had no signs of any color, which for a skin conscious person, this is the most ideal scenario. If you are looking for products with sunscreen and wondering if sunscreen specific for the eye area is worth it, in my opinion, this very sensitive area of your face needs all the protection it can get and this product does an amazing job at making it easy.
